The Prof. Gianfranco Angelino award
The Prof. Gianfranco Angelino Award is an award for the Best Poster Presentation at the biannual ORC seminar.
The award honors the merit of work conducted within the scope of research and development on ORC Power Systems technology. The prize is kindly provided by Dipartimento Energia, Politecnico di Milano, and it is named after the friend and colleague Prof. Gianfranco Angelino, for his most important contribution to the development of ORC technology.
The scientific committee selects the recipient of the Award based on the examination of the posters displayed during the poster sessions and upon discussions with the author/authors present during the sessions.
The prize consists of € 2000, and it is accompanied by a certificate for each of the authors of the poster.
The winners are announced during the closure ceremony of the International Seminar on ORC power systems. More details on the previous awards can be found using the buttons at the bottom of the page.
Best paper award
Since 2019, this award has been awarded to the Best Paper at the biannual seminar.
As with the Prof. Gianfracno Angelino award, it honors the merit of work conducted within the scope of research and development on ORC Power Systems technology.
