In 1983, the ASME Board of Governors approved the establishment of the ASME Dedicated Service Award (DSA). It honors unusual dedicated voluntary service to the Society marked by outstanding performance, demonstrated effective leadership, prolonged and committed service, devotion, enthusiasm and faithfulness. The award may be presented to selected individuals who have served the Society for at least ten years with ASME IGTI.  The nominee and nominator must be ASME members.

Form of Award:            Plaque, certificate and Lapel

Limitation(s):                Minimum of 10 years of service to ASME

The DSA nomination form can be downloaded below, including the nomination instructions.  The completed nomination form (questions 1-7), brief resume of nominee and one or more reference letters must be returned to ASME IGTI Staff (igtiawards@asme.org) by November 1 for your suggested candidate to be considered for nomination.  The ASME IGTI Honors and Awards Committee will select a candidate/s to then present to the designated nominator for IGTI (Senior Vice President, Institutes and Vice President, ASME IGTI Board).
