Earlier this year, KCORC released its revised version of TEHAG White Paper on thermal energy harvesting from industrial excess heat. The paper outlines key technological pathways and policy recommendations to unlock this untapped potential in Europe’s energy transition.

We’re now pleased to share that the TEHAG White Paper has been cited by the European Commission in its recent report to the European Parliament and the Council on the competitiveness of clean energy technologies (EUR-Lex 52025DC0074).

In a section on industrial excess heat recovery, the Commission references just three sources – among them, TEHAG White Paper. This recognition underscores the strategic relevance of KCORC’s work and supports further policy engagement.
