ORC 2017 CONFERENCE
The Seminar was an opportunity for scientists from the Industry and the Academia to discuss the latest advances in ORC research & development, applications and demonstration projects. Industrial partners such as Turboden, Exergy and Ormat were present, demonstrating that the ORC-technology is alive and that academic ideas are being picked up and developed by industry. Furthermore, companies developing ORC systems in the kW range were also present, who showed their success in putting in practice the latest research development of the Academia in the downscaling of the ORC technology.
The 4th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems was also the opportunity for more than 300 researchers and people from industry coming from 25 different countries to meet and share their expertise in the field of Organic Rankine Cycle systems.
- to set high standards for the quality of the papers and presentations;
- to broaden the partecipation from professionals and students;
- to foster Technology transfer from Academia to Industry, and back.

The 4th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems was organized in Italy (Milan, 13-15 September 2017)) by the team of Politecnico di Milano, one of the best technical Universities in Europe, where the pioneering work of Prof. Angelino started in the early 70’s.
