BUNDESABWÄRMETAGUNG 2026 (BAT26)

Please note: This is a German-speaking event.

Date: 17 June 2026
Location: Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart

The Bundesabwärmetagung 2026 (BAT26) will take place on 17 June 2026 in Stuttgart.

In 2026, BAT26 will be held for the first time in cooperation with the Fachtagung Abwärme BW, creating a major specialist event focused on industrial waste heat. The event is designed to support exchange between experts, facilitate discussion of project ideas, and encourage the development of concrete measures for recognising and using waste heat potential.

The programme will include plenary sessions on current developments, practical examples from industry, round-table discussions, B2B matchmaking, and a specialist exhibition. As a topic closely connected to industrial energy efficiency and heat recovery, the event may be of interest to the KCORC community.

For more information, please follow the link here: BAT26

For the KCORC community, BAT26 is particularly relevant because it highlights current developments in industrial waste heat recovery. With its focus on practical measures, project exchange, and cross-sector dialogue, the event offers useful insights for those working on energy efficiency, heat valorisation, and industrial decarbonisation. Please note that this is a German-speaking event.
